PROJECT SCOPE

Megatrend was instructed to run a formal RFI process inviting pre-identified bidders to present a solution.

SOLUTION

Formal adjudication of bidder responses, including existing landlord renewal proposal, were comprehensively reviewed, and analysed; whereafter the business instructed Megatrend to secure the lease extension.

RESULTS

Megatrend successfully negotiated a 5-year lease extension securing circa R20 million in lease savings vs landlord initial proposal; and a R3 million capital contribution for Motus' benefit as well as a full benefit of the landlord's solar PV installation (previously not included) of which benefit estimated at R240k - R290k per annum, escalating over the term.
